About the project: The project “Natural and cultural resources in the function of tourism”, with a total value of HRK 6,558,100.72, will prepare a strategic project for regional development of natural heritage and cultural resources and will strengthen general capacities at the local and regional level for adequate planning and implementation of measures aimed at using EU funds. The preparation of the stock of strategic projects of natural and cultural resources will achieve the basic precondition for the development of regional infrastructure, which will be the basis for further integration of the value chain from the tourism and creative society sectors and education and regional research, social and economic infrastructure. benefits and effects on the development of the area of \u200b\u200bSlavonia, Baranja and Srijem.<\/p>\n

The project “Natural and cultural resources in the function of tourism” includes activities for the preparation of project technical documentation at three locations for natural heritage areas (Special Forest Vegetation Reserve Pra\u0161nik and Special Ornithological Reserve Bara Dvorina) and a project based on cultural resources (Zone for children and youth \u201c\u0160i\u0161tat\u201d).<\/p>\n

The project was contracted within the Call for expressions of interest for the award of grants from Priority Axis 10 – Technical Assistance of the Operational Program “Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020” to co-finance the preparation of strategic regional development projects in 85%, ie 5,574. 385.60 kn. Estimated duration of the project until the end of November 2023.<\/p>\n

Project activities include:<\/p>\n

  1. Preparation of strategic projects for regional development BP\u017d – Cultural and educational zone for children and youth (\u0160i\u0161ta), and includes the biggest part of the project, financially and in terms of content. It refers to the revitalization of the brownfield area – the military complex \u0160i\u0161tat, which covers 18.22 ha. The activity includes the preparation of project-technical documentation for the arrangement and adaptation of the military complex, primarily organized, group arrivals of young people (primary and secondary school students and students) who will have organized activities of educational and \/ or cultural content, provided accommodation capacities and available catering facilities (coffee bars, restaurants, souvenir shops) which will be available to BP\u017d. The military complex should thus become the focus of excursions, field classes, meetings and exchange of knowledge of young people in the foreground. The project envisages the following facilities such as a museum, a development center for children and youth, an adrenaline hall that will be open to visitors all days of the year and regardless of weather conditions and sports facilities – sports fields and courts for indoor and outdoor sports, restaurants, accommodation facilities and souvenir shop.<\/li>\n
  2. Preparation of the strategic project of regional development BP\u017d – Pra\u0161nik Visitor Center. The activity includes the preparation of project technical documentation for the construction of the Pra\u0161nik Visitor Center with accompanying facilities and the development of the necessary plans and strategies for its management.<\/li>\n
  3. Preparation of the strategic project of regional development BP\u017d – Info Center Dvorina. The activity includes the preparation of project technical documentation for a strategic project in the field of natural heritage – Info Center Dvorina. For the needs of the reconstruction of the existing facility, project-technical documentation will be prepared and an action plan for visitor management for the special ornithological reserve Bara Dvorina will be prepared.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    By investing in the project “Natural and cultural resources in the function of tourism” Brod-Posavina County will have prepared a database of project-technical documentation for projects of regional importance that will apply to EU tenders under the financial perspective 2021 – 2027 and which will significantly contribute to future socio-economic development.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
