The Brod-Posavina County (BPŽ) area traditionally bases its economic development on agriculture, industry, crafts and an important transport position. This foundation is developmentally supported by modern health and quality education systems, and is enriched with historical, cultural and current social content. Through the Development Plan, in cooperation with the engaged subjects of this area, the BPŽ Development Center strategically plans the future development of this County.
Brod – Posavina County Development Center (CTR) was established by the Brod-Posavina County as a public institution in accordance with the Law on Regional Development in order to more effectively coordinate strategic planning and encourage regional development for the area of Brod – Posavina County.
More than 20 years of excellence of the Brod – Posavina County Development Agency in the preparation and implementation of projects co-financed by EU funds, through the knowledge of employees continues at the Development Center of Brod – Posavina County. That is why today’s CTR marks a center of excellence in the preparation and implementation of EU projects to public bodies and public institutions in the County, and which are the founded by the Republic of Croatia, counties and local governments and a center of excellence for advising entrepreneurs in their interest in EU projects.
